Comedian Jim Gaffigan will film parts of his new special during two Tampa shows this fall

He takes over the Straz Center in October.

Emmy-winning comedian Jim Gaffigan is bringing the laughs to Tampa this fall.

The 55-year-old comic  who your parents love to watch on CBS' Sunday morning plays two shows in one night at Morsani Hall in the Straz Center — located at 1010 N Macinnes Pl., Tampa — on Oct 15 at 7 p.m. and 9:30 p.m.

Tickets go on sale Friday, March 18 at 10 a.m. and range from $39.75 -$125.75. You can purchase it on the Straz Center's website or through the box office, whether that be in person or by calling (813)-229-7827.

"The Fun Tour" reflects the current niche of Gaffigan's material, surrounding tales of his life with a comedic boost to each story.  And yes, we're going to pregame with some Hot Pockets.

The entertainer has 10 comedy specials under his belt, and to those in attendance, prepare for your possible broadcast debut. According to a press release from the comedian's team, the shows will be filmed and recorded for his next special.
