International heavy metal bands Beast in Black and Striker are in Tampa this week

Canadian metal group Striker has a new kid in town.

John Simon Fallon, a longtime friend of the band, is now its secondary guitarist, and he just made his debut on Striker’s latest single, “Strange Love.”

It’s been said that a follow-up to 2018’s "Play To Win" is in the works, too, so don’t run away or anything. To possibly preview a few works in progress, and celebrate the past, Striker is starting its 2022 tour in Orlando, then moseying into Ybor City.

Yes, the tour is mainly full of dates opening for DeLand metal group Seven Kingdoms (which recorded a ton of stuff at legendary local studio Morrisound) and, in what appears to be a U.S. debut—Beast in Black— but it’s been five years since Striker has rolled into the Bay area, while on tour with Warbringer.

Finland-based Beast in Black dropped its latest LP titled "Dark Connection" just a few months ago, in preparation for its first-ever U.S. tour.
