Curtis Hixon Park will soon host three days of live music, fresh seafood and local vendors when the Tampa Bay Seafood & Music Festival returns to 600 N Ashley Dr.
Running Friday-Sunday, April 22-24, tickets for Friday and Saturday cost $10 each while admission for Sunday runs for $15. Single-day tickets will get you inside of the event and access to live music, but unfortunately won't cover the cost of any of the fest’s good eats.
All ticketing information can be found at eventliveus.com—but guests can also purchase their tickets at the festival's entrance.
In addition to seafood stands that will be dishing out everything from fresh crab legs to peel-and-eat shrimp and lobster rolls, there will be a variety of local vendors peddling their art, crafts, wares and other homemade goods.
And according to a press release from Paragon Festivals, there will also be food vendors slinging vegetarian dishes, too. Other fair-type indulgences available at next week nclude fresh-squeezed lemonade, ice cream and roasted corn.
All three days of the Tampa Bay Seafood & Music Festival are stacked with live music from both Tampa Bay-based and nationally-acclaimed artists. Classic rock act Stormbringer, soulful bluesy singer Annika Chambers Deslauriers and the blues-rock Pat Travers Band take the Curtis Hixon Park stage on Friday night.
On Saturday, music runs from 12:30 p.m. to 10 p.m. and features Prodigal Sons, Sean Chambers, rock band Memphis Lightning, blues guitarist Damon Fowler and Fire & Ice: A Pat Benatar Tribute. Sunday’s lineup includes singer-songwriter Joshua Scott Jones, southern-rock act Soul Circus Cowboy and Tampa-based rockers The Outlaws.
Next weekend’s seafood celebration is hosted by Paragon Festivals, the folks that organized the recent St. Petersburg Fine Arts Festival and St. Petersburg Seafood & Music Festival.
Hours for the upcoming Tampa Bay Seafood & Music Festival are 4 p.m.-10 p.m. on Friday, 11 a.m. -10 p.m. on Saturday and 11 a.m.-6 p.m. on Sunday.
