But after a three-year hiatus, it's finally time for another highly-curated local festival, as the art collective just announced a stacked lineup for next month’s Lost in St. Pete shindig— happening from May 6-8.
What's more is that Florida metal legend Torche is set to headline day one, with California hardcore favorite Trash Talk topping the bill on day two.
In previous years, the venues usually aren't announced until a few days before the festival. But 2022’s installation will be taking place at multiple businesses throughout downtown St. Pete like The Deuces Live, The Bends, Cage Brewing, Steep Station, If I Brewed The World and the Lost Creations HQ, located at 400 23rd St. S in Palmetto Park.
Tickets for Saturday and Sunday start at $20 each and can be found on eventbrite.com.
A full three days of music, next month’s festival features Florida-based musicians that span all genres—from Miami psych-rock trio Haute Tension to Tampa rapper Gat$, R&B songwriter NDO, and indie-pop crooners The Jackettes.
The full lineup (which is organized alphabetically, bless) can be found on the @lostinst.pete Instagram page. According to the festival’s social media, there will be more acts announced soon.
Other local heavy hitters include Eyelid Cinema, J.T. Brown, Witch Hiatus, Razor and the Boogieman, RogerThomas, Bangarang and Kerry Courtney.
Torche has headlined Tampa Bay many times in its almost two-decade existence, but most recently played Ybor City’s Crowbar in 2019—the year its latest LP Admission was released.
Lost Creations is known for transforming spaces with their immersive set designs and exhibitions, typically throwing themed and curated events, like its anti-Valentine’s Day “Freaklove” fest. According to its website, the art collective is self-described as a “Florida-based design, build, and production company specializing in large scale immersive art installations, experiential environments, set design, scenic fabrication, theatrical production and event production.”
