One of Tampa Bay’s longest running film festivals, Sunscreen, kicks off its 17th run on Thursday and runs through Sunday in downtown St. Petersburg.

For four days, attendees at the 17th annual Sunscreen Film Festival can mingle with filmmakers (opening night features a screening of “Rosé All Day), take in shorts and feature length flicks, plus take part in panel workshops about distribution, getting incentives, making bad movies and more.

Foreign features, documentaries and more are all part of the packed itinerary happening in downtown St. Petersburg.
