Hideaway Cafe owner John Kelly hopes to spend next month moving into what he hopes is a new location for the beloved St. Petersburg, Florida listening room.
Five months ago, John Kelly was unsure about how many days Hideaway Cafe—his beloved St. Petersburg listening room—had left on Central Ave.

He finally has an answer. Saturday is both the 13th anniversary and final day Hideaway Cafe will open its doors at the corner of Central Avenue and 18th Street.

Kelly hopes to spend next month moving into what he hopes is a new location, but in the meantime he’s tapped some of Tampa Bay’s best songwriters to play both inside and outside during a nearly 12-hour, no-cover party that starts at 12:30 p.m.
