Tacos My Love St. Pete welcomed its newest taco spot, Tacos My Love, for a soft-opening this week. The new restaurant—owned by Pedro Rosales— will replace the Mid Peninsula Seafood Market, and offer authentic Mexican food with a fine dining twist. Menu items include traditional Mexican dishes like tacos and fajitas, as well as plant-based options like vegan nachos and jackfruit tacos. Roam Restaurant & Bar If you're wandering around St. Petersburg, don't forget to stop in Roam. A new restaurant is open in the Lealman neighborhood, and it is self described as a “fusion of classic French cooking and NY Steakhouse with a Southern twist.” The Roam Restaurant and Bar soft opened last week, and is now open Thursday-Sunday as it transitions into a more robust dining schedule, dishing out its thick steaks and signature cocktails. 3405 34th St. N St.Petersburg. @roamresturantstpete on Instagram

Popstroke It's tee time at Popstroke’s new location, which opened this week in Sarasota. The golf and dining concept, founded by golf legend Tiger Woods with partner Greg Bartoli, features two decked-out 18-hole mini-golf courses, outdoor dining, table and lawn games as well as three bars—one of them on the rooftop of the building. Noble Tavern Two local favorites will join forces to bring a new concept to St. Pete. Noble Tavern will combine concepts and atmosphere from Noble Crust and Fat Beet Farm Kitchen & Bakery. The “polished casual craft cocktail bar with creative culinary dishes” will have an ambiance set to mimic that of an old world tavern and wrap it into a modern design, according to Noble Tavern’s Instagram. The restaurant will be located in the newly built Tru by Hilton St. Petersburg at 17th Street and Central Avenue in the Grand Central District and will debut sometime in 2023. 1650 Central Ave., St. Petersburg. @nobletavern on Instagram

Top Shelf Sports Lounge A new place to watch sporting events (or eat chicken wings and pretend like you’re watching) is slated to open in one of downtown Tampa’s most notable towers. As ThatssoTampa reported earlier this week, Top Shelf Sports Lounge will open on the bottom floor of the revamped and newly-renamed Truist Building. The 4,674-square-foot restaurant—which features an outdoor patio—will debut sometime in 2023. JB3 Dough Joe Self-described as a “bread.coffee.love. spot,” Tampa’s beloved bread-slingers just announced their latest venture—a grab-and-go located in the heart of historic Ybor City. “ We will start the remodel immediately and take each day as it comes. We do not have a tentative opening date but we will work as fast as we can to get that bread back to you,” a recent post from its Facebook reads.  Known for everything from cinnamon buns to sourdough to fancy focaccias—and even special gluten-free and vegan loaves— Jamison B Breadhouse Bakes’ wide variety of offerings can tickle any dough-lover’s palette. The Peach Truck heads to Tampa this summer This Nashville-based fruit truck heads to Tampa Bay this summer to help you distinguish the difference between freshly-picked peaches and their grocery store counterparts.
