This year didn’t start off easily for Fantastical Tigers.

After six months of collaborations, Jordan Chronister and his wife, Lindsey Rae Washburn cut all ties with local collective Wave Theory. The split came ahead of April sexual harassment allegations against Wave Theory’s de facto leader Mike Mass, and Chronister told Creative Loafing Tampa Bay that the band would have cut ties sooner had they known about the incident which allegedly occurred two years ago.
Since then, the band moved forward by joining Tampa’s own Symphonic Distribution, and this weekend, Fantastical Tigers will perform its recently-released eponymous album, cover to cover.
Supporting the duo are fellow local singer-songwriter favorites Deb Ruby and Emily Turnage, along with special appearances from Melissa Grady of Same Day Delivery Orchestra, and Daniel Caballero, of House of I.
