Pierogi Bar Adjacent to Treasure Island Beach and Gulfport, the aptly-named Pierogi Bar boasts a small, straightforward menu filled with variations of the Eastern European delicacy. There are many types of fillings for its pierogis, ranging from savory options like the traditional potato and cheese to sauerkraut and mushrooms. Other dishes on the newly-opened restaurant’s menu include fried potato pancakes, the traditional beet-based soup borscht and its exclusive Kozak platter—complete with two kobasa sausages, three potato pancakes and three pierogis. I.C. Sharks Bar & Restaurant The popular seafood market soft-opened its outdoor bar and restaurant this week to the delight of loyal patrons. Located directly behind its retail space on Gandy Boulevard, the new menu obviously showcases its fresh-caught goodies, as you can order raw oysters, steamed clams or shrimp, poke bowls and I.C . Shark's famous smoked fish dip alongside bar food offerings like BLT's and other sandwiches. It’s currently open Thursday-Friday from 4 p.m.-9 p.m. and Saturday-Sunday from 11 a.m.-10 p.m. The I.C. Good Fortune Baby's Instagram recently announced its pop-up schedule for the next few weeks—which include May 27 at Cafe Hey for the "Bloom on Franklin" market, as well as on June 4 at Crowbar for Emo Night Tampa 's anniversary show. With the help of her mom and family members, GFB’s Julie Sainte usually sells out of her dumplings, buns, and other Filipino-inspired small plates quickly—so make sure to get to those pop-ups a little early. The Brutalist and Temple of Beer’s grand opening party The folks behind King State—Tampa’s go-to spot for craft coffee and beer—are finally ready to celebrate the grand opening of their new brewery and taproom across the bridge. The Brutalist and its taproom counterpart Temple of Beer will host its first party on Saturday, May 21 at noon. Alongside live music provided by Tampa acts Alien House and Notsew, made-to-order pizzas from Luna Rossa Cucina Rustica and exclusive bottle and can releases will fuel the partygoers until who knows how long.
