The last time Lamb of God played Tampa, the heavy metal legend opened for Slayer. This fall, the band gets to headline the same venue, with its own brutally-heavy supporting cast of bands opening.
Tickets to see Lamb of God play MidFlorida Credit Union Amphitheatre in Tampa, Florida on Sunday, Sept. 18 are on sale now and start at $39.50. Killswitch Engage, Baroness and Suicide Silence open the show.
Lamb of God's tour will support a forthcoming album, Omens, due Oct. 7. Today the Virgina band released a new video for "Nevermore" where the band turned its eye "toward inner struggles and global affairs alike," as part of what Blabbermouth says could perhaps be "the band's angriest album yet."
"The world is crazy and keeps changing. Omens is a reaction to the state of the world," vocalist D. Randall Blythe said. "It's a very pissed-off record—it is extremely pissed off."
