The historic Floridan Palace is bringing new happy hour offerings to downtown Tampa in the hotel’s Sapphire Lounge.

From 3-6 p.m. daily, guests can enjoy speciality drinks and small bites in the same lounge once shared by Elvis, Marilyn Monroe, Frank Sinatra and more. The new menu features $6 handcrafted speciality cocktails, $4 select beer and wine, and $5 small bites.

In addition to the expanded happy hour menu, the lounge offers shareable appetizers, signature entrees, fresh salads and desserts.

The announcement follows a notable change in ownership at the hotel and points to the landmark site’s continuous progress. The hotel—located at 905 N Florida Ave. in downtown Tampa—remains Hillsborough County’s only existing grand historic hotel and business hotel and was designed by Tampa’s own Francis Joseph Kennard who is also behind Tampa’s Hillsborough High School and St. Andrews Episcopal Church, plus Belleair’s Belleview-Biltmore Hotel.

The happy hour joins several downtown drink values offered at the Remedy happy hour and The Hub.
