Creative Loafing Tampa Bay's Best of the Bay 2021 party at Hard Rock Event Center in Tampa, Florida.
Right now, Tampa Bay organizers from Mutual Aid Disaster Relief (MADR) are headed to Ft. Myers to help distribute supplies and aid to our southern neighbors whose lives were upended by Hurricane Ian.

While we can't be there in person (except for CL staff writer Justin Garcia, who, full disclosure, participates in MADR and is headed south now), Creative Loafing Tampa Bay and its readers will try and pitch in.

A portion of proceeds from our rescheduled Best of the Bay 2022 party on Thursday, Oct. 6 at Hard Rock Event Center will now go to MADR, which is a movement that seeks to provide grassroots, liberatory disaster relief.

The funds—including any you donate to MADR directly—help fund the all volunteer network serving impacted communities, especially those most marginalized, after crises like Hurricane Ian.
