The Tampa Bay Jewish Food Festival has been operating as a drive-thru event since 2020, and this year’s rendition is no different.

Although you can’t enjoy your full spread of Jewish fare at the event itself, driving home with a carful  of babka, pastrami, knishes, matzah ball soup and stuffed cabbage is totally worth it.

This Best of the Bay-winning foodie fest happens on Sunday, Feb. 26 from 9:30 a.m. to 2 p.m., but orders must be placed by this Sunday, Jan. 29. Folks will pick up their pre-orders at Temple B'nai Israel in Clearwater, located at 1685 Belcher Rd. S.

The festival’s menu is chock full of Jewish goodies like corned beef, chopped liver, seeded rye bread, noodle kugel and different types of knishes, in addition to sweet treats like NY-style cheesecake, lemon bundt cakes, and chocolate and cinnamon babkas.

The Tampa Bay Jewish Food Festival’s full menu can be found at tbiclearwater.org, where you can place your pre-order as well. After placing an order, folks will also have to choose a specific pick up time on Feb. 26.

Portions differ from dish to dish, but prices remain affordable, ranging from $2.75 for a single Kosher dill pickle to $25 for an entire pound of deli-style pastrami or corned beef. Some dishes are made by the temple’s community members, while others are shipped from New York City's iconic Carnegie Deli and beyond.

Any folks that order $100 of food or more will receive a free insulated bag as well. After arriving at Clearwater's Temple B'nai Israel on Feb. 26, festival volunteers will place your orders in your car's back seat or trunk.

For more information on next month’s popular food festival, head to its Facebook page or call the temple office at (727) 531-5829.
