One of the most talked about fundraisers in Tampa Bay returns to the scenic St. Petersburg waterfront at the end of this month.

Tickets for WUSF’s “Longest Table” start at $225 and are available on a first come, first served basis. Menus for four of the six vendors quickly sold-out after tickets went on sale today, but offerings from Catering By the Family and St. Pete’s super-popular Twisted Indian are still available.

Chefs from each of the restaurants will serve a four-course meal paired with wine. Check in for the event starts at 5:30 p.m. and the grand toast is at 6:30 pm.

“We are thrilled to host this wonderful outdoor event where we can gather together to enjoy these fabulous restaurants in a beautiful setting – all while supporting the mission of public media,” WUSF Public Media General Manager JoAnn Urofsky said.

The fundraiser arrives after the station wrapped its spring drive and less than a year after Urofsky came under fire for pulling the plug on WUSF’s “All Night Jazz” programming after 56 years.

All the money raised from the gala will support WUSF Public Media. WUSF Public Media produces programs like “Morning Edition,” and “Florida Matters”.

The suggested attire is business casual so get your dress pants and nice shirts ready to soak up the waterfront views.
