One of The ‘Burg’s go-to plant-based spots will soon close its doors—but there's still some time to grab a vegan Cuban sammie before its very last day.

Black Radish St. Pete, located at 246 Dr. M.L.K. Jr St. N, announced its imminent closure on Instagram today.

"We’ve loved having the opportunity to share our dream with you and are abundantly grateful to every person who has supported us in any way along this journey,” Black Radish wrote on social media. "Our staff is and always will be our chief concern. Due to this, we intend to operate thru Monday, April 24th.”
Until its last day on April 24, all of its items—except mocktails and hot deli sandwiches—will be 15% off to help the small grocery store clear its inventory.

It’s not all bad news though; Black Radish’s flagship storefront in V.M. Ybor will remain open at 2923 N 12th St. Today's social media post explains that a few might changes might happen at its Tampa grocery, but its owners say that they are "confident we will be able to fully dedicate ourselves to our goals by covering a smaller footprint."

Black Radish's St. Pete location opened its doors just 16 months ago to community acclaim and appreciation for its hard-to-find vegan products, pressed sandwiches, and unwavering support of other locally-owned businesses—including  popular concepts like House of Vegano, Lucky Tigre, Catalyst Creamery, Katie's Cookies, Gulf Coast Sourdough and Gabby Bakes.  Black Radish's Tampa storefront remains open from 9 a.m.-5 p.m. Friday-Monday, with its deli slinging beautiful vegan sammies from 9 a.m.-3 p.m. those same days.  Before next week's closure, its St. Pete location will operate with the same hours  as Tampa for both its grocery and deli.
