A rare Weeki Wachee spring house is now on the market for $575K

A spring home on the banks of arguably one of the most touristy rivers in the Tampa Bay area is now for sale.

Located at 7299 Tropical Dr., the home sits on the turquoise blue, manatee-loving  Weeki Wachee River.

The location is really what's for sale,  since this house is  just slightly upstream from Roger's Park, and only a few paddles down from the intensely popular Weeki Wachee Springs State Park.

The two-story, 2,080-square-foot home comes with a total of four bedrooms and two bathrooms, as well as a boat slip, a floating dock, and a private boat ramp. It's also a few minutes from some preemo scalloping grounds.

The current asking price is $575,000 and the listing agent is Stephen Diller of Paradise West Realty, Inc.

Featuring river boat tours, mermaid shows, and a water park, Weeki Wachee State Park is a classic Florida attraction, and sits at the surface point of the river, which produces about 117 million gallons of 72-74-degree water every single day.
