An underground beachfront 'Dune House' is now on the market in Florida

Not going to lie, living in a hole in the ground is starting to sound better every day, and this Florida house built into the side of a dune might be the best option.

Located at 1943 Beach Ave., in Atlantic Beach, near Jacksonville, the home was designed by modernist architect William Morgan in 1975, and is actually setup as two separate units. Each space is 750-square-feet and is setup with one bedroom, 1.5 bathrooms, laundry, a kitchen and a living space. The current owners purchased the "Dune House" back in 2012 and made some considerable updates, like two rooftop decks, a rooftop "yard," and a large shed for all your beach gear.

The only downside to this house is someone has to mow the roof.

The current asking price $1,795,000, and the listing agent is Jan Shields with Watson Realty Corp, Atlantic Beach.
