Baseball legend Gary Sheffield just sold his Tampa mansion for $1.9 million

Former Major League Baseball All-Star Gary Sheffield recently offloaded his Tampa home for his asking price of $1,900,000. The five bedroom, five and a half bathroom mansion is located on Harbor Island at 922 Anchorage Rd, and features all new kitchen features like stainless-steel appliances and quartz countertops. The master suite has a massive walk-in closet and its own private balcony. And, of course, the home also comes with a pool.

A Tampa native, Sheffield went to Hillsborough High School and played with eight MLB teams, won five Silver Slugger awards, and dinged 509 home runs over the span of his 21-year pro career.

The listing agent was actually Gary's wife, Deleon Sheffield, and Traci Burns of Smith & Associates Real Estate represented the buyer.
