Ben Rosenblum Trio

The University of Tampa Department of Music welcomes back award-winning jazz pianist, composer and accordionist Ben Rosenblum, bassist Marty Jaffe, and drummer Ben Zweig. The event will feature the premiere of a new work by Bradford Blackburn, associate professor of music. Rosenblum's musical interests also extend beyond jazz to include work in numerous world music scenes, including musical styles from Brazil, Peru, Croatia, Bulgaria, India, Ireland, Jewish traditions and more. Free and open to the public.

Though it's a shell of its former self, Britton Plaza is still one of Tampa's most iconic shopping centers. Sure, the Plaza 8 movie theater was converted into a mega church, and Big Lots, Stein Mart, and Tuesday Morning have all packed up and left. But the 30-acre plaza still has some worthy tenants like Tapper Pub, a decent BCF and the area's best Taco Bell.
