University Area CDC (Community Development Corporation)’s INVEST Workforce program and Think Big for Kids are offering free workshops to help middle schoolers discover their untapped potential, by providing exciting opportunities for career exploration, mentorship and skills development.
Monthly skill building workshops will focus on soft skills for workforce readiness. Registration is required by contacting Sara Roman at
[email protected] or 813.558.5212 x 403. A new bicycle will be given away to one of the registrants. Also, refreshments will be served at each workshop.
