Check out the weekend's best Tampa Bay food and drink events

A handful of happenings to ensure the weekend isn't free of your necessary intake of local bites and beverages.

• So, uh, I know it's last minute, but if you wanna spend some dough on Friday yet aren't sure where to go, consider the Tap to Table Craft Beer Dinner. Held at the Mahaffey Theater to raise funds for the Bills Edwards Foundation for the Arts, this feast at 6:30 p.m. pairs area-made brews — rare and exclusive ones — with five courses prepared by chef Jeffrey Hileman of Locale Market. Tickets are available online in advance. $103.50. 400 First St. S., St. Petersburg. 727-892-5767.

• Saturday's Putts & Pints Pub Crawl is the sort of sport CL can get into. The bar hop around Ybor City — benefiting the Alex's Lemonade Stand Foundation for Childhood Cancer and kicking off at The Brass Tap — takes attendees to a bunch of participating watering holes (holes... get it?) for rounds of putt putt, trivia and other games from 3 to 7 p.m. in between sips. And, yes, prizes are at stake. Registration starts at 2 p.m., and guests should arrive donning their flyest golf attire. Find advanced tickets online$30 in advance, $35 at doors. 1600 E. Seventh Ave. #E-113, Tampa.

• Also taking place on Saturday, Green Bench Brewing Co.'s annual Get Low Fest is a huge family-friendly celebration of summertime. The fest, now in its fifth year, offers a two-story waterslide and a pool, as well as water guns, to help bathing-suited guests cool off in the beer garden from 2 to 6 p.m. That's in addition to the mead and cider slushies, session taps, grub and smoothies. DJ RePete provides the tunes. Free, money for drinks. 1133 Baum Ave. N., St. Petersburg. 727-800-9836.

• The Bake'n Babes Gift Card Giveaway plans to announce the winner of its $25 gift card between 3 and 6 p.m. Saturday. However, there's still plenty of time to enter the contest. To be considered, the dessert-obsessed must tag someone they know with a sweet tooth on this Facebook event page, then share the event and register for the Hall on Franklin bakery's giveaway online. Simple enough, right? 1701 N. Franklin St., Tampa.

• Wind down from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Sunday with some raw, gluten-free, vegan and soy-free treats from All GF Vegan. The Palm Harbor food purveyor sets up inside the monthly Fresh Market at Hyde Park Village head for the corner behind the music tent at the back of the square — with items like nut cheese and legume-free hummus. Free, money for goodies. 1602 W. Snow Ave, Tampa.
