The home of Marco Chiancianesi, president of Bimota Motorcycles and a major Scientology donor, is now on the market in Clearwater.
Located at 430 Jasmine Way in the Harbor Oaks area, the 4,730-square-foot Tuscan-style home comes with 5 bedrooms and 5 bathrooms. Built in 2002, the homes has witnessed quite a few upgrades, including new lighting and fans, and updated bathrooms. It also features a four car garage, and a pool.
Chiancianesi and his business partner Daniele Longoni (also an active Scientologist), purchased the small Italian motorcycle company back in 2000, after it filed for bankruptcy. Since then, Bimota has somewhat struggled, with a factory closing in 2017 and Kawasaki Heavy purchasing 49% of the company just last year.
In a 2013 interview, Chiancianesi credited the Church of Scientology for his success and said that he donated over 1 million Swiss Francs to the organization, "earning him a place among the church's most generous donors."
His home is currently asking $1,250,000, and the listing agent is Terri Novitsky of Lauren Michaels R. E. partners.
