Fall Plant Festival

The USF Botanical Gardens hosts their Fall Plant Festival October 8th & 9th from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Admission is $5 for the general public, and free for USF Botanical Garden members (no reciprocal admission for this event), and children under 12 years old. USF Botanical Garden members get in 30 minutes earlier on Saturday, starting at 9:30. There is free parking for the event. There will be vendors selling plants and plant-related items. Vendors at this event are commercial growers and local clubs from throughout the state and are expert growers, who are available to field your questions.

Though it's a shell of its former self, Britton Plaza is still one of Tampa's most iconic shopping centers. Sure, the Plaza 8 movie theater was converted into a mega church, and Big Lots, Stein Mart, and Tuesday Morning have all packed up and left.
