Florida football legend Steve Spurrier finally sold his giant beige beach house

Steve "Head Ball Coach" Spurrier has finally sold his massive khaki-colored beach house.

Spurrier and his wife, Jerri, sold their oceanfront Crescent Beach home on Jan. 26 for $4.4 million, after it was listed as high as $5.8 million. The home's listing was agent the coach's daughter,  Lisa Spurrier King, with Better Homes and Gardens Real Estate Thomas Group.

Located at 7630 A1a S near Saint Augustine, the 7,723-square-foot house comes fully pressed with all the pleats and hems, including five bedrooms, seven-and-a-half bathrooms, and a three-car garage, a sauna, an elevator, plus a vacant (buildable) lot on the intracoastal.

Among many head coaching stops, the Florida-native and celebrated coach led the University of Florida team from 1990-2001,  as well as the University of South Carolina, and the short-lived Orlando Apollos of the Alliance Football League.

Spurrier was also notably the quarterback of the 1976 Tampa Bay Buccaneers, which was the only team in NFL history to finish 0-14.
