Former NBA Champion and Tampa Bay basketball legend Mareese Speights, also known as "Mo Buckets" is looking to sell his massive Clearwater estate.
Located at 1053 Candler Rd, the home was built in 1988, and was purchased by Speights in 2017 for $1,560,000, according to property records.
The 9,636-square-foot home comes with seven bedrooms and eight bathrooms, as well as a game room, a study, a media room, an outdoor kitchen, a heated pool and spa, a guest house, and of course a basketball court.
Born in St. Petersburg, "Mo Buckets" played ball for Admiral Farragut Academy, where his number is currently retired, and went on to play for the Florida Gators, notably Coach Billy Donovan's 2007 NCAA Championship team.
Speight most recently played for the played for the Guangzhou Loong Lions of the Chinese Basketball Association, but he also enjoyed ten seasons in the NBA, earning a ring with the Golden State Warriors in 2015.
Last week, Georgia Southern announced that Speights would be the new mens basketball assistant coach for the 2023-24 season.
Speight's house is currently listed for $2,599,900, and the listing agents are Jamie Devine Brown and Anthony Brown of the Re/Max Alliance Group.
