Hillsborough pet shelter is at 500% capacity, here are a few of the adoptable pets looking for homes right now

For the past week, Hillsborough County Pet Resource Center has been overrun with adoptable cats and dogs.

According to a press release, the center is currently at 500% capacity for cats and 130% of capacity for dogs.

In an effort to help pair some humans with these shelter pets,  the county will host a  free adoption party from 10 a.m.-5 p.m. this Saturday, June 25 at 440 N Falkenburg Road.

All adoption fees will be waived.
