Paso County’s Black Lives Matter marches have been smaller than those in Tampa, but they haven’t been any less disruptive. In fact, Deputy Mayor Jeff Starkey has criticized protesters for being loud and marching downtown, “where people are trying to enjoy a night out.” That’s kind of the point of civil disobedience, sir.  —Ray Roa
