Photos from Tuesday's peaceful George Floyd protest in downtown Tampa

Protestors gathered outside Tampa City Hall on Tuesday afternoon for a moment of silence and impromptu walk west on Kennedy Boulevard. In an interesting exchange, Tampa Mayor Jane Castor came out to address the crowd but was shouted away before eventually returning to speak with a few protestors. In a Twitter post, City of Tampa Communications boss Ashley Bauman said, "Mayor  @JaneCastor is and has always been ready to listen. If today’s not the day, she stands stands ready when you are."
