On the one-year anniversary of the deadly Jan. 6 riot, where thousands of Trump-supporters stormed the U.S. Capitol in an attempt to overturn the 2020 election results, a who's-who of Tampa Bay's MAGA faithful gathered for a vigil calling for the release of local traitors.
According to Creative Loafing Tampa Bay photographer Dave Decker, a small group gathered at the
Pinellas County jail for the "One Year Rally for 1/6 Political Prisoners," and organizers played a somber recording from accused Jan. 6 rioter and Tampa-based Oath Keeper Jeremy Brown, who's currently in jail.
Brown was arrested on Oct. 2 and faces charges of entering restricted grounds, possession of unregistered firearm and threatening an officer. According to the warrant, authorities found a sawed-off shotgun, two grenades, a rifle, and over 8,000 rounds of ammunition at his home. A month later, authorities say
Brown tried to sell his house, and accidentally revealed another hidden cache of weapons and explosives in his Zillow listing.

blackface-wearing state representative Anthony Sabatini, and local
"MAGA Church" pastor Robert Uhls, who holds his services behind a replica Resolute Deck inside a fake Oval Office at the Conservative Grounds Trump-themed coffee shop.
Also in attendance was QAnon-promoting Pinellas County school board candidate
Kaitlin New, as well as Proud Boy proxy and AutoTrader heir Kurt Jantz, also known as the rapper
Forgiato Blow.
Notably, professional conservative streaming troll and white supremacist Tim Gionet showed up at the tail end of the event dressed as the "
Q Shaman." Commonly known as the pseudonym "
Baked Alaska," Gionet
was also arrested and is currently facing charges for storming the U.S. Capitol on Jan. 6.
