Photos: Vasilevskiy, Lightning beat Ovechkin and the Capitals at Amalie Arena

Anchored by its once-in-a-generation goalie, the Tampa Bay Lightning handed another future Hall of Famer, Alex Ovechkin, and his Washington Capitals a loss on Monday night. Andrei Vasilevskiy made 31 saves on 33 shots and earned his 194th victory during the comeback win. As Raw Charge points out, Big Cat now has the second-most wins for a goaltender in his first 300 games. The win moves the Lightning to 5-3-1 as Tampa Bay packs for a two-game road trip that takes the Bolts to Toronto and Ottawa before the team comes back home to Amalie Arena for a Tuesday, Nov. 9 game against the red-hot Carolina Hurricanes who’re currently on an 8-game win streak.—Ray Roa
