Roots Azul Featuring J.J. Pattishall

The [email protected] welcomes J.J. Pattishall for a special evening of entertainment and education! This unique project tells the story of the diverse musical and cultural influences that have shaped the sound of the Tampa Bay region. Part concert, part masterclass, part oral history, this narrated sonic journey through Tampa Bay will feature a live ensemble performing six original compositions and a short workshop discussing the musical styles featured in the concert ranging from jazz to funk, Afro-Cuban to soul, reggae to roots rock.
