Painter, David Larson Evans’ focus is on the perfect execution of a painting, as well as what is being said, and what is not being said. From the Cave Paintings in France to the modern Surrealist works there are stories being told, but we are often left with a riddle. Evans likes the permanence of oil paints. He gets a certain satisfaction in thinking that in 300 years someone will pick up a work of his and inquire, "Who is this David Larson Evans?" His intention is to paint something of interest, a mystery perhaps?
