Tampa activists march for sex workers' rights during Super Bowl weekend

On the Saturday before the Super Bowl, protesters and activists took to downtown Tampa's Riverwalk to march for sex workers' rights and demand an end to police violence. Creative Loafing Tampa Bay contributor wrote that protestors remembered both Kai Summers, a woman who died in Hillsborough County custody at Orient Jail last year after falling in the shower and hitting her head and Dominque Mulkey who was shot dead by Tampa police officers blocks away from a dollar store after robbing snacks on Oct. 20.—Ray Roa
