The Bolts are celebrating their upcoming 30th anniversary with a season-long celebration, filled with a season kick-off event, anniversary logo, community givebacks, Tampa Bay Lightning Hall of Fame and more.
Tampa Bay Lightning 30th anniversary kickoff celebrations
The celebration starts Oct. 1 with a weekend kick-off at Amalie Arena. There will be exclusive interviews with Tampa Bay Lightning general manager Julien Brisebois, head coach Jon Cooper and current players and team alumni like Dave Andreychuk, Brian Bradley, Ryan Malone, Paul Ysebaert and more. All followed by a concert from hit rock band Smash Mouth.
On Oct. 2, the Lightning hosts an open practice at Amalie Arena—located at 401 Channelside Dr.—for fans to watch the team prepare for the 2022-23 season. Practice begins at 10:30 a.m. and doors open at 10 a.m. Guests can claim up to four free general admission tickets.
