The former childhood home of Dan Bilzerian, a professional poker player and so-called "
King of Instagram," is now on the market in Tampa's gated Avila community.
Located at
16229 Villarreal De Avila, the home was built in 1992 by his father Paul Bilzerian, a disgraced corporate fraudster who serve 13 months in prison for illegal stock manipulation.
The
28,363-square-foot home sits on 3.4 acres and comes with a total of 10 bedrooms and 19 bathrooms, as well as a wine room, elevator, four fireplaces, a swimming pool with waterfall and slide, and an "athletic wing," featuring a gym, plus indoor basketball and racquetball courts.
For years the home sat on the market and at one point was listed as high as $18 million. In 2016, a trust paid $2.85 million for the home in what the Tampa Bay Times called the area's "
most notorious and expensive foreclosure."
Well, now the home that stock fraud built is currently asking $5,999,900. The listing agents are Eric Dungy and Jon Fincher of Compass Florida, LLC.
