The 25 'most romantic' restaurants in Tampa Bay, according to Yelp

Earlier this week, Yelp released its annual list of "100 most romantic" restaurants in the country, and a couple Tampa Bay spots made the list.

To come up with the rankings, Yelp went through a large number of reviews mentioning the words “romantic,” “Valentine’s Day” and “date night” between Jan. 1, 2019 and Jan. 14, 2020, and ranked the restaurants in order along with other key factors like volume of reviews, and total ratings.

While this national list was certainly interesting, we wanted to know more about what local Yelpers thought about Tampa Bay restaurants. So, we reached out to the company and they gave us an exclusive list of the "most romantic" spots located in Hillsborough, Pinellas, and Manatee counties.  You may notice that this list is a little different than the national ranking, and that's because what you see here is an all-time list, that includes reviews from the beginning of Yelp Tampa Bay all the way through today.

So, if you haven't made and any RSVPs yet, here are a few spots to try.

827 W. Bloomingdale Ave., Brandon, (813) 655-4786
“The Stein & Vine doesn't look like much sitting in a Big Lots plaza with a sign overhead that reads "Pub,” but it is one of the best restaurants in Brandon. I'm not saying it is good for you, but it is delicious.”- April H.

20. Craft Street Kitchen
3153 Curlew Rd., Oldsmar, (727) 314-4270
“This is one of my favorite go-to American cuisine restaurants in the area. The food is always fresh and delicious. Yes, there is going to be a wait if you're walking in on a Thursday/Friday night, but if you strategize just right you can easily snag a seat at the bar or one of the first-come-first-serve high tops.”- Jennifer J.
