After 23 seasons, it appears Tom Brady has had enough,
for real this time.
The 45-year-old future Hall of Famer officially retired this morning, posting a video to his social media channels showing him saying his goodbyes while sitting alone on some sand dunes on a cloudy beach somewhere.
While surely he means it this time, as usual Twitter had a lot to say about this morning's Déjà Vu moment.
While the future may not be too bright for the Bucs, who are now stuck with
dead salary cap space, no extra draft picks, and a lot of aging veterans, the seven-time Super Bowl champ has his whole life ahead of him.
As quite a few Twitter users pointed out, Brady will now have plenty of time to reconnect with his family, get used to a cushy TV job, and maybe even find out exactly how much eggs cost.
