Raining Berries

Raining Berries is St. Pete’s newest coffee shop and acai bar opening in Artistry Apartments. With locations in Lutz and Tampa, the St. Pete location will carry on the chain’s mission to bring people together over a cup of Joe.

Hiccups Tea House

Hiccups Tea House will be a new Asian-fusion restaurant serving over-the-top desserts and unique entrees. Technically two concepts under one roof, the restaurant will house both Hiccups Restaurant & Teahouse, the Asian-fushion component, and Churroholic, a Spanish-inspired dessert line.

Oronzo Honest Italian

18027 Highwood Preserve Parkway, Tampa
This new fast-casual Italian spot is hitting Tampa with made-from-scratch traditional recipes and gluten-free and vegan options, as well. Bavaro's Pizza Napoletana & Pastaria founder Dan Bavaro and Front Burner Brands restaurant group are joining forces to make this Italian dream a reality.

Brighter Days Brewing Co.

Tarpon Springs is getting its newest brewery with Brighter Days Brewing Co. First announcing its opening late last year, the spot is set to open its doors to Tampa’s brew lovers soon.

Free the Cork

This new wine bar is to open in Tampa’s Sparkman Wharf with a hefty selection of wine and a small plates menu. Free the Cork is set to include an indoor, air-conditioned central bar, so guests won’t have to brave the typical crowds.

JoToro

Coming soon to Tampa’s Sparkman Wharf is JoToro, a Mexican full-service restaurant from New York City-based chef Joe Isidori. Stationed at the street-front corner at the wharf’s entrance, JoToro will serve Tex-Mex favorites and specialty cocktails.

The historic Pickford Sundries is reopening with a new restaurant concept, Lesiak’s Counter. With a section of the spot dedicated to the history of Pickford Sundries, the new restaurant concept will feature modern twists on classic southern menu items.

Two Shepherds Taproom

Tampa’s first indoor-outdoor dog park and bar, Two Shepherds Taproom is set to open and will feature an air conditioned bar and dog park, as well as the outside playing area. Guests purchase membership passes or pay by dog; humans, though, get in free.

Beans and Barlour

Beans and Barlour, known for specialty boozy desserts, is opening a new location in St. Pete inside Tropicana Field. Featuring alcohol-infused ice cream, spirited floats and sundaes, espresso drinks and teas, the new spot is also going to offer spiked Tropicana floats.

A new Italian spot “infused with New York charm” is coming to Tampa. The fast-casual Santelli Pizza + Pasta will be offering NY-style pizzas, Italian pasta dishes and a variety of beers and wines.

Rome + Fig

North Hyde Park will soon be getting its newest globally inspired bistro, Rome + Fig. With some Asian-fushion elements lumped in, Rome + Fig’s menu offers options like tuna tartare, Asian-style wings, octopus fritters, bison meatballs, various cuts of steak and seafood risotto.

BallPark & Rec

Another attraction for Rays fans, Tropicana Field’s BarPark & Rec is expanding into a two-story full-service restaurant complete with multiple bars, indoor arcade games and outdoor lawn games.

Kahwa

Kahwa Coffee is opening its newest location in St. Pete as a drive-thru and walk-up location. Although a little different in structure made out of three refurbished shipping containers, it will still be serving Kahwa coffee and sandwiches.

Uptown Eats

689 Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. St. N., St. Petersburg
Put together by Tampa Bay artist and curator Chad Mize and longtime partner, Dan Schmidt, Uptown Eats will open in the former Banyan Cafe space in downtown St. Pete. While an official menu hasn’t been announced, the restaurant ran a pop-up grab-and-go deal, for those who ordered beforehand, featuring flank steak and oven-roasted potatoes and asparagus, as well as a vegan option and desserts.

Woven Water Brewing Company

456 W. Columbus Drive, Tampa
Woven Water microbrewery is making headway in Tampa Heights. Head brewer and co-founder Jay Jones previously brewed for Lakeland’s Brew Hub and most recently been brewing at 81Bay in Tampa.

Sauvignon

Another wine store and eatery in St. Pete, Sauvignon is set to open soon. For now, they’re teasing their bottle stock and menu items like fresh beet salad plus scallops with crispy prosciutto over herbed polenta.

St. Pete is getting its first ever mini golf-themed bar with Par Bar. Wanting to create an out-of-the-box bar experience, co-owners Marcel Gruber and Kurt Campagna ditched the outdoor lawn Jenga and cornhole for something a bit more unique.
