The St. Pete compound of architect Elliot Hadley, who designed Thrill Hill, is now for sale

A home designed by the guy responsible for generations of local people catching a few inches of air off "the hump" is now for sale in St. Petersburg.

Located at 860 Snell Isle Blvd. NE, the sprawling compound was built in 1938 by notable architect Elliot B. Hadley. According to Peter Belmont, chairman of Preserve The 'Burg, Hadley is probably best known as one of the designers behind St. Pete's infamous Thrill Hill and the historic Snell Isle Bridge.

The home comes with four-bedrooms and five-bathrooms, as well as vaulted beamed ceilings, a guest house, a gated courtyard and a heated salt water pool and spa.

In all, the compound is asking $1,100,000, and the listing agent is Tricia Priest of Coldwell Banker.
