This 620-acre ranch in Citrus County comes with terrestrial caves and a private lake

A sprawling private ranch with its own 102-acre bass-stocked fishing lake is now on the market just north of Tampa.

Located at 10651 S Istachatta Rd., in Floral City, Moon Lake Ranch (not to be confused with Moon Lake Gardens and Dude Ranch) is truly massive, covering more than 600-acres in total and featuring dense hardwood forests, a grazing pasture, a large lake, and terrestrial caves that are part of the Pineola Fern Grotto Cave Complex. In all, the estate features two guest houses, multiple barns and a 5,402-square-foot main house, with five bedrooms, and four-and-a-half bathrooms.

According to property records, the ranch is owned by former county commissioner Scott Adams, who also unsuccessfully ran for Citrus County supervisor of elections in 2020.

The asking price is currently $12.5 million and the listing agents are Zachary J Wheeler and Chelsea Adams of Century 21 J.W.Morton R.E.
