Maas Brothers, Webb's City, Harbour Island Mall—these iconic Tampa Bay shopping destinations may be long gone, but they ruled the local shopping scene in their heyday.

These photographs  from the Florida State Archives show those department stores and even earlier relics of Tampa Bay's shopping past, you know, before Amazon Prime.
