-Some big names have announced some big Web-only projects:
- Michael Moore will release his new film, Slacker Uprising, online and for free. The Documentary (or whatever you call a Michael Moore movie) about the 2004 election and Moore's attempt to rally young voters around John Kerry will be available for three weeks as a free download beginning Sept. 23.
- Also, Family Guy creator and voicemaster Seth MacFarlane will debut new cartoons via Google beginning Wednesday.
And some people still don't think this Internet thing is going to pan out.
- I enjoyed Out.com's list of the 100 gayest albums of all time. David Bowie beat out the Smiths for the number one slot. I guess I'm a gay music fan.
- Apple will unveil iTunes 8 on Tuesday. Here are some rumors about what it might do. iPhone 2.1 may also see release the same day.
- Finally, what the hell is the deal with the new Windows spots? The clip below features Jerry Seinfeld and Bill Gates in an ad which plays more like a Dadaist short film than a commercial for Vista .
