Well, it's almost over.

This first day of spring is the last full day of campaigning for the six different men and women who are on the ballot in tomorrow's municipal election in Tampa for mayor and city council.  CL met up with representatives from both the Ferlita and Buckhorn campaigns yesterday, and both parties are extremely energized for the last 24 hours of this race, calling people up to make their sure they'll be going to the polls.  Buckhorn has the momentum, but, pardon the cliche, turnout is everything, and there are lots of people with Team Ferlita dedicated to getting their people out on Tuesday.

Early voting is over in the race.  8,194 ballots were cast during the Early Vote period for the runoff election – that's up from the 6,685 in the early voting for the primary – when there were several more days to participate in the early vote.

If you didn't get a chance to see the last televised debate between the pair, it was for the most part extremely mild mannered affair,  aired over the weekend on WEDU. You can read our review here.

Meanwhile, we spent a couple hours out of our life that we'll never get back attending the "Save America" Tea party led conference held over the weekend at the Tampa Marriott Waterside hotel.  We really didn't get much out of, much as we hoped we might.

Oh, and by the way, when you were out having fun this weekend, the U.S. got itself into another war, which might not be as simple as some administration officials are indicating it will be.

And speaking of the Libya situation, we're still trying to figure out what Florida Senator Marco Rubio thinks about it all.
