Tampa's Haven is switching things up by launching a new monthly pop-up called Larceny BBQ. The first installment of Larceny is going down Sat., Jan. 23 from 11 a.m.-2:30 p.m. But how did this idea come about? The Haven's website provides insight into the new concept.

"Last year, our beloved homemade smoker of 15 years was stolen. While researching for a replacement, our passion for live fire cooking went to another level. Inspired by this act of larceny, we bring you our version of barbecue."

Haven's chef Chad Johnson is recreating barbecue classics with new ingredients and techniques. This isn't your average pop-up menu either. Larceny BBQ's selection is stacked from meat by the plate, half-pound, and pound, to sides in various sizes and a slew of booze opens.

If you're feeding the fam, or just have a big appetite, grab Nate's Plate for $55 and serves four or "1 Nate." It puts a little bit of everything on the menu into one massive meal. Made up of half-pound pork, half chicken, half-pound hotlink, and four spareribs. It doesn't stop there, the Nate's Plate sides include four corn muffins, a pint of pickles, potato salad, poppyseed coleslaw, and pit beans. Oh, and a handful of sauces like Paducah, white bbq, icky sticky, and chipotle honey mustard. Damn, bring a bib.

For dessert you can grab the banana pudding, root beer pie or the Campfire Milk Shake made with smoked vanilla ice cream, marshmallow and milk chocolate.

When it comes to booze, there's a selection of bourbon, whiskey, scotch and rye. There's also a lineup of themed cocktails like the She Thinks My Tractor's Sexy made with Hanson's habanero vodka, Contratto bitter liqueur, mango, carrot and lemon. There's also the Tequila Makes Her Clothes Fall Off with Milagro Silver, hibiscus, chipotle, pear, citron, and cinnamon cordial. For the entire menu, visit haventampa.com.

Just a heads up, dine-in is currently sold out but you can opt for curbside carryout.
