The start of hurricane season is less than a month away, but thereโ€™s still time to get ready for the next big storm.

Tampa Bay got a break last year, but some homes and businesses have not recovered from the devastating hurricanes Helene and Milton of 2024.

At this Palm Harbor Parks & Recreation expo this weekend, several Pinellas County departments will have info on how to prepare for and respond to hurricanes.

Rescue equipment and vehicles will be on display. Plus, giveaways and door prizes including generators, hurricane supply kits and chainsaws.

There is no cover for the Hurricane Expo happening Saturday, May 9, in Palm Harbor.
