After leading the University of South Florida men’s basketball team to the Big Dance for the first time in over a decade, head coach Bryan Hodgson jumped ship to lead the Providence College Friars. So, now he has to sell his house in South Tampa’s Sunset Park neighborhood.
Located at 2623 S Parkview St., Hodgson purchased the home for $3 million in May of 2025, a couple months after signing a six-year, $8.25 million contract with the Bulls.
According to property records, Hodgson purchased the home from former USF men’s basketball coach Brian Gregory, who coached the Bulls from 2017-2023, and is currently the General Manager for the Phoenix Suns.
The 4,944-square-foot home was built in 2021, and comes with five bedrooms and six bathrooms, as well as a 48-inch refrigerator/freezer, a butler’s pantry with beverage drawers, a theatre-style media room, a heated saltwater pool and spa, an outdoor kitchen, a three car garage, and more, says the listing.
After head coach Amir Abdur-Rahim died unexpectedly in 2024 from complications related to a medical procedure, USF tapped Hodgson, then-Arkansas State head coach, to helm the Bulls. In his first and only season in Tampa, Hodgson’s squad won both the regular and postseason American Conference titles, and brought the program to the NCAA Tournament for the first time in 14 years.
The Hodgson house is currently asking $3,295,000, and the listing agent is Chris Remmert of Century 21.
