Mike Haridopolos before speaking to Tampa Tiger Bay members
Florida Senate President and GOP U.S. Senate hopeful Mike Haridopolos has a few blemishes on his resume, and members of the Tampa Tiger Bay Club made sure to bring up seemingly every one this afternoon at Maestro's restaurant at the Straz Center in downtown Tampa.
Haridopolos is engaged in what is already an intense battle for the nomination against Adam Hasner and George LeMieux, with Hasner's camp in particular sparing no expense in blasting the Melbourne legislator on a variety of fronts.
But from his responses (or in one case, the lack of a response), Haridopolos looked a bit thrown off his game as the Tiger Bay crowd, which in Tampa definitely leans Democratic, challenged him on some of the policies that he supports, as well as some personal foibles.
