Good morning everyone, and welcome to the first full week of March Madness.

Hope y'all had a great weekend. Yours truly did, in part because we saw A Separation this weekend at BayWalk in St. Pete. The Iranian film not only won the Oscar last week as Best Foreign Film, but made many U.S. film critics' lists as the top film of the year overall in 2011. After screening it on Saturday, we agree.

Right around the same time we were watching that, Rush Limbaugh was releasing an apology for his ugly comments about that Georgetown University Law student from late last week. We look forward to hearing what the man with "talent on loan from God" will say when his show resumes later today.

With Benjamin Netanyahu in Washington today, the talk about Israel and/or the U.S. attacking Iran has never been louder. Yesterday dozens of activists protested the possibility of war in Tampa.

We dig it when the Times and the Tribune's editorial pages go off on each other. Just sad that the topic that's firing up the Trib's editors today is postmarks.

Late last week former Pinellas County School Board member Nina Hayden announced she's running for the Democratic nomination for Congress in Pinellas later this year. Hayden tells us why she's running here.
