Joy Koy’s earliest fans remember the days when he’d play Tampa Improv, but the Filipino-American comedian worked his way up to larger venues like Mahaffey Theatre and Tampa Theatre and is now booked to headline Yuengling Center next year—his biggest Bay area show to date.

Tickets to see Jo Koy’s “Funny if Funny” tour at Yuengling Center in Tampa, Florida on Saturday, March 12, 2022 at 8 p.m. go on sale Friday, Aug. 13 at 10 a.m. and start at $45 (a venue presale starts on Aug. 12).

Koy’s comedy has been a window into the lives of the Fil-Am community across the U.S., and in March, the 50-year-old released his first autobiography, “Mixed Plate,” and he just wrapped production on a feature film, “Easter Sunday.”
