In our fall guide section, arts contributor Jen Ring took the reins and told you where to go, and who to talk to, when you want to get outside and explore the artistic side of the outdoors. But what if you’re looking to find a popular spot for lounging outdoors with a cocktail or a bite? How about those hidden patios tucked away in alleys, rooftops, and back porches? Many of these spots are just off the beaten path, and some are more obvious — but all of them are worth discovering when it finally cools down outside.
